Oak Valley Ski Resort - Least Crowded in Seoul
Hey there, Spring is about to arrive but I would like to pen down my spontaneous yet awesome snowboarding trip last winter of 2023 over here. It was just 1 week before Christmas, my mind space wasn’t in the right place. It was filled with a mixed baggage of emotions, longing and emptiness of yet another white Christmas. I wanted an excitement so I made a bet to myself. If my mind is still contemplating to seek for a winter adventure for the next 24 hours, then I will go ahead and book a flight to the nearest destination and most affordable one for a snowboarding trip. Well obviously I lost the bet. So I booked a return ticket to Seoul, South Korea from 20th Dec 2023 - 25th Dec 2023 just to quench my thirst for a satisfaction adventure.
So I booked my flight using Traveloka and flew with Batik Air for the first time. Cost me RM1,987.16 after coupon discount. It was on the high side but since I’ve lost the bet so heck yea. Honestly for a last minute booking and during Christmas, I was beyond thrilled. The flight was really a pleasant experience for me. Took the red-eye flight and was welcomed with cold crispy air of Seoul at 6am upon arrival. Brrr..but this was what I've came for so I packed all my winter gears and clothes thinking if I could bare the winter for 3 months, I could do this. haha.. mentally I was prepared, physically not much because the -15’C win of Seoul just froze my soul unexpectedly. Literally speaking but I found the beauty of anticipating Christmas in Seoul magically fascinating. Christmas trees and markets are lit up gigantically, Christmas songs blasting along the streetwalk of Myeongdong, couples romancing just like the K-drama,
I’ve got less than a week to plan and book for my snowboarding trip. So after checking around, I’ve finally decided to explore the least crowded ski resort in Seoul which is Oak Valley Ski Resort. I booked using KLOOK at RM324.37 @ USD68.33 which I will spelt it out below what are inclusive in the package and it was certainly worth it! Also if you planning to book any of the package in KLOOK, please use my code WANDERWITHDEVI for a 5% discount. It was super easy, hassle-free and you don’t even need to bring any of the ski equipments.
