My first visit to Japan was in 2010 when I won an all expenses paid trip from a slogan contest via Astro. I had a chance to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Mount Fuji and Osaka with Disneyland and Universal Studios included. 14 years later I am back here and this time around I really enjoyed the DIY making new discoveries at Lake Kawaguchi, Kyoto and Tokyo. Initially wanted to visit the ski resort but it will disrupt the whole journey so perhaps next round.
For 8 Days 7 nights itinerary, I stayed I stayed 2 nights in Lake Kawaguchi, the next 2 nights at Kyoto and final 3 nights at Tokyo. I downloaded SUICA via Apple ewallet so that I could add money using my WISE card and do not have to purchase any ticket while travelling around except for Bullet train - I purchased the ticket at the counter.
